I am a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutritionist. I started my fitness journey in 2012 and have learned many things about myself over the years. I used to think there was only one way to training and one way of eating. But I learned the hard way that, that is untrue. Once I started prioritizing my wellness over how much weight I could lift, everything started falling into place in a heathier way.
You must take care of yourself from the inside out and prioritize rest days. Looks are just a bonus. Your overall wellness is the most important thing. I tell all my clients this and it opens up an entire new form of relationship for them. Navigating your relationship with food is key to success in the gym. So fueling your body with nutrient dense foods will assist you further in reaching those goals.
